Dhoni banned from cuttack and kolkata one dayers [Saturday, December 19, 2009]
Indian Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni was banned from two ODI matches as a result of his slow over rate during the second one day against Srilanka. The ban was announced by International Cricket Council's match referee Jeff Crowe. The Indian side is planning to delegate Virender Sehwag the responsibility of leading the team. “ICC Match Referee, Jeff Crowe, has imposed an immediate Two Match suspension on M S Dhoni for slow over-rate after conducting a hearing last night,” said the statement from BCCI . The next one dayers are to be held in Cuttack and Kolkata on December 21st and 24th respectively.
