Reknowned Telugu film comedian Padmanabham died of heart attack on saturday. He was 79 and had produced and directed numerous telugu films. Born in Simhadripuram village in Kadapa district, he worked in theatres before entering tollywood. 'krishna Prema' released in 1943 was his first film in telugu. He acted in more than 400 films. His last film in tollywood was 'Tata Birla Madyalo Laila', which was released in 2006. Padmanabham was also a recepient of numerous awards instituted by the state governmnet and also won the Allu Ramalingaiah Award.
