The All India Congress Committee secretary Shantaram Naik said that the alliance between congress and DMK was going very strong and that no one could break it. He was reacting to AIADMK General Secretary Jayalalitha's proposal to ally with congress. Mr Naik was in the state to review the progress of the party elections. He said that the party had successfully enrolled 70 lakh members. The final list of the party candidates would be published in March 25. Mr Naik also said that the elections to the AICC will be held between April 1 and July 31st.
