The AIADMK General Secretary Jayalalitha retained E Madhusudhanan and O Paneerselvam as the Chairman and Treasurer  of AIADMK on thursday. C Ponnaiyan, former minister was appointed as the organizing secretary of the party. K A Senkottaiyan was re nominated as the head quarters secretary. A total of eight secretaries were appointed by the General Secretary at the organizing level. The new office bearers would be vested with the charge of reviving the party according to the latest strategies of AIADMK aimed at recapturing power in the state. The appointment of the new office bearers were also watched anxiously by the political allies in the wake of Jayalalitha's call to her party cadres to work jointly to recapture power in Tamil Nadu.
