The  Pattali Makkal Katchi leader S Ramdoss alleged that the government employees of one particular caste denomination was seperated out for transfers in the Pennagaram Assembly constituency for which the by polls are due next month. The PMK leader in a related press release alleged that the ruling party engaged in campaigning even after the election commission has postponed the polls to later dates. The leader complained that the election commission is doing nothing in this regard. Mr Ramdoss also warned that his party would launch a state wide demonstration if the election commission was not acting with immediate effect to ensure fair polls.
