Tamil Nadu government on friday appointed Letika Saran as the Director General of Police instead of K P Jain who is on a leave. Ms Letika Saran was working as the director general of training.The appointment was also in connection with the death of a sub inspector who was stabbed by gangsters. Seven people were arrested here in connection with the murder and the enquiry reveals that the death was due to mistaken identity.
