The Tamil Nadu Sate Election Commission on tuesday announced that it will hold by elections to Pennagaram Assembly constituency on January 20,next year. The counting will be held on January 23. The official notification of the election is expected to be out by December 26. The by election became essential as the Pennagaram MLA P N Periannan passed away due to heart failure on December 1.The Pennagaram by election will also be the 11th by election in the assembly. The last date for filing the nominations will be on January 2.
