Soofiya Madani, PDP leader and Coimbatore blast acquitted Madani's wife was arrested in Kerala on thursday from her residence in KOchi. This was due to the rejection of the anticipatory bail petition that the Kerala High Court dismissed regarding the torching of Tamil Nadu State Transport Coporation bus in September 2005. Her husband Madani responded to the press saying that the case was based on a bogus allegation framed up by the politicians who had a hatred towards him. Five persons involved in the bomb blast case was acquitted by the Kollam Court on thursday. Her arrest has created a wave of protest in the PDP front. A protesting group of PDP cadres held a demonstration in front of the Anwarserry complex on thursday in support of the PDP leader.
