The State Election Commission has planned to introduce web cameras for the forth coming by polls in Tirichendur and Vandavasi constituencies. The voters would be captured in the web cameras and their pictures would be compared with that available in the central server data base of the election commission. Regarding the new arrangement the Chief Election Commissioner said that there would be quick action with regard to the frauds identified through this system. About 13 documents of identity proofs are now allowed by the election commission. There has also beeen arrangements for live recording of the entire poll process during staurday.
