The Communist Party of India decided that they will not participate in the bypolls to the Tiruchendur and Vandavasi constituencies. The decision was made after the parties met in Madurai on wednesday in this regard. Sources also say that the party has called to the people to renounce the elections. The party has not finalised its decision regarding whether to support the AIADMK candidates. However they made it clear that they will not extend any form of support to the DMDK candidates.
