The team of State Engineers from the State Government who visited the Mullaperiyar dam said that it was safe and stable. The team comprising of Chief Engineers and technicians who visited the sight on account of the claim of the Kerala government that there were seepages in it said that the dam and the surplus arrangements within it was functioning well. The team reported that there was a seepage of 58.46 litres per minute the repair works of which is considered.
