The rain related death toll rose to 21 with five more additional deaths that was reported on Sunday. Sources say that those dead includes people who were electrocuted in Ramanathapuram. The government has declared a holiday for all schools and colleges in Nilgiri, Theni and Kariakal. The metrological department revised their observation and said that the rains may continue in the coming weeks too.
