The executive director of Reliance Industries Limited, R Ravi Mohan died on monday following a cardiac arrest. He was aged 52. He is survived by his wife and two children. Mr Ravi was a popular figure in the financial field especially in connection with Reliance Industries. His sudden demise has shocked his peers and colleagues in the industry as well. “We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Ravi Mohan. He was a keen supporter of Reliance Industries and a very dear friend. On behalf of all of us at Reliance Industries, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Ravi’s family and many friends,” said Reliance Industries Limited Chariman Mukesh Ambani. Mr Ravi was also assigned the responsibility of acquiring the petro chemical company Lyondell Basell on behalf of the RIL. He has worked as the managing director of S&P as well.
