Madras Cements is setting up packaging plants at Hyderabad and Nagercoil. The plants are estimated to have an operational capacity of of 120 tonnes per hour each. The release from the company says that the plants would help the company in effectively serving the markets. The company has reported a net turn over, including other income, of Rs 771.17 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 up from Rs 616.36 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
