Encouraged by the success of the first leather cluster in the country, the Confedaration of the Indian Industry - Southern Region (CII-SR) has sought the help of the State government to assist them in setting up eight more such clusters. The proposed clusters are to be set up at Madurai, Coimbatore,Erode, Ambur and Chennai.
