Riviera',09 , the four day international sports and cultural fest of Vellore Institute of Technology, began on Friday .The annual inter-collegiate fest was launched after a mini marathon inside universities expansive campus. The first day was solely dedicated to literary competitions which called for high literary proficiency.The first day also bore witness to a number of preliminary competitions for which the students were struggling to get through. Besides the numerous competitions, there were other hang outs like the gaming geeks , food stalls etc. The programme will go up to monday.
