Chennai Sangamam, the annual cultural fest of Chennai was inaugurated here on Sunday. DMK MP Kanimozhi, the co-ordinator of Chennai Sangamam said that it wasnot an exclusive right of any organization and that any one could conduct it. The Sangamam was marked by a display of traditional sport, arts and cusines.The Sangamam is spread accross 12 venues. GST Road Chennai Corporation, Cantonement Play Ground, Kodambakkam, Lady Willington College Grounds, Kamarajar Salai, Nageswara Rao Park Mylapore, Natesan Park, Anna Nagar Periyar Play Ground, Valasaravakkam,Ashok Nagar Park, Elliots Beach, Independence Day Park Nungambakkam,Thiru.Vi.Ka Park Shenoi Nagar and ECR Road Palavakkam.
