The state government initiated job fair resulted in employment of over 1.05 lakh unemployed youth across the state. The job fair at Tiruchi alone fetched a registration from over 1.25 lakh people. The group consisted of people who were graduates and post graduates and also included professionally trained youth. The companies gave a good feed back on the quality of the candidates. “The companies were generally happy. Candidates from rural and semi-urban areas could as well match their urban counterparts.”said MLA Kanimozhi.
