A tamil version of consumer rights book was published on friday and was titled “Nugarvore Raja", which means Consumer is the King. The book was authored by Rajyalakshmi Rao who is a member of National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission. The book is a gist of the author's experience at consumer fora and is a good guide to legal action at times of need. The book was launched by the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, H L Gokhale. Speaking at the function, the Chief Justice stressed the importance of awareness on consumer issues which also would gurantee the quality of functioning of institutions.
