P Srinivasan, former Deputy speaker of Tamil Nadu Assembly passed away at a city hospital. He was 72 years old and is survived by a wife and a son. Mr Srinivasan had headed the anti-hindi agitation in 1965 and became the deputy speaker in 1971. He was also an eminent columnist in Dr Namadhu MGR.
