Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar recieved a letter from Bal Thackeray which referred to the struggle for formation of Maharahtra and the consequent death of 105 people. “Mumbai cannot belong to anyone else and even if it was the country’s economic capital, it was the capital of Maharashtra first', said Thackeray in a letter to Sachin.Defending the entire episode, Sena leader Subhash Desai told the press that it was just a friendly advice and that Bal Thackeray held the right to advice Sachin.
