The bulletin of the Meterologicl department that was released on saturday said that the low pressure area extends to west central Bay of Bengal across the Gulf of Mannar and southwest bay off the coast of Tamil Nadu and south Andhra Pradesh. The rains will also be accompanied by thundering in the coastal belts.
