The Andhra Pradesh govenment gave consent for setting up of IT industries by Tamil Nadu and handed over the land allotment letters to seven companies on Friday. The letters were handed over by Susi Sam Bob, Principle Secretary of the Industries and Commerce Department during a conference of infrastructure organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry. The investment was made by Chennai based RKKR Group to set up a steel project in Nellore District. The company has been allotted 365 acres of land at an industrial park there to set up a project with an employment potential of 12,500 people and a projected investment of Rs. 2250 crore.
