Thousands of commoners thronged the Birla Planetarium to witness the 'eclipse of the century'. The partial solar eclipse, as was seen in most parts of India was witnessed by lakhs of people. Many were apprehensive about clouds playing spoilsport. But they were in for a surprise when the sun, which was in and out of clouds till 6.15 a.m., presented itself brightly towing the moon which had already bit 60 per cent out of it. |
