Union Petroleum and Natural Gas minister Murali Deora said that the petrol and diesel prices will be reduced if the international crude oil price drops. He was inaugurating the commissioning of the aviation turbine fuel pipe line (ATF) of Indian Oil Corporation and a sea water desalination plant of Chennai Petroleum Corporation limited in Chennai. The minister also recalled that the centre had reduced the price for automobile fuels when the crude prices came down a few months ago.
