Priyadarshan's movie Kancheepuram will be released on March 13th. The film tells the story of the life of silk weavers, their dreams,and aspirations and the routine struggle that they have to undergo to lead a normal life. The movie had won special appreciation in Toronto International Film Festival and is sure to attract the domestic audience. Shreya Reddy, the lead actress says  “We are not aiming at the movie’s commercial success. But this would be the kind of movie that people would want to watch. This is a story about a section of people we all know but seldom take note of. I am looking forward to see how people here receive the movie,” .
