Endorsing Kamal Haasan's view that politics and art should not be mixed together, Tamil actor Rajanikanth urged the politicians not to divide the artist and bring politics into cinema. He was addressing a felicitation function organised by Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. He said that the actors of Tamil and Kannada film industry are like brothers and they should not allow their relationship to be threatened by political developments between the states.
