International short film festival to be held between February 27th and March 2nd  [Wednesday, February 25, 2009]
   
 

                 The International short film festival will be held between February 27th and March 2nd in Panaji. The entertainment society of Goa (ESG) , the co-host for IFFI will be conducting the festival which will show case 23 short films. The IFFI , 2008 has films across the globe competing for the award. 'Monday to Friday', a spanish short film by Albert Bayona, winner of Vasudha Award for Best Film on Environmental Issues and Belgium film 'Plot Point' directed by Nicolas Provost, winner of Golden Lamp Tree award are part of the package. Indian short films including Harshavardhan Kulkarni's 'Lost and Found', Geetha J's 'Akam', Salil Jason Fernandes' 'The Mole', Hari Upreti's 'The Ice Factor', Subhadro Choudhary's 'You and Me', Babu Kambrath's 'Kaanam', Karan Narvekar's 'Shane Soares', Joydip Mukherjee's 'Pather Panchali -- A living Resonance', Sunita Thakur's 'The Godless Justice' will be showcased in the festival.
