The tussle between TFPC and FEFSI is affecting numerous upcoming films. The latest is that ace director Bharathiraja might replace his lead hero, Ameer, of 'Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum' with another actor. The director has alleged that Ameer  is busy with the strike and is not focusing on the shooting. Bharathiraja, who takes his films seriously, is looking for a replacement as there is no other option. The film is touted to be a mid 2012 release.
