Director Vetrimaaran confirmed that Telugu star Rana Daggubati, who was roped in to play a key role in 'Vada Chennai', is no more part of the project.It was earlier reported that Rana had walked out of the project, but there was no official confirmation. "Rana has opted out of Vada Chennai as he had some issues with the way his character was sketched. We will be working together soon," posted the 'Polladhavan' and 'Aadukalam' director on his microblogging page. 'Vada Chennai' has STR aka Silambarasan in the lead and is produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies. Andrea Jeremiah will be seen in a crucial role in the flick.
