The Catholic-Christian secular forum has criticised AR Rhaman song 'Hosanna...' in Gautham Vasudev Menon's 'Ek Deewana Tha' (Hindi version of Tamil hit 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya') scheduled for release on February 17.The organization said that Hosanna was used inappropriately in the song. The Forum has taken up the issue with authorities concerned and wants the song to be withdrawn. It also plans to launch a public agitation if no action is taken against the song. According to CSF, the song has hurt not only Christian, but also Jewish religious sentiments, Hosanna being a prayer for both communities. The CSF has demanded an apology from Rahman for the same.
