The latest in the line to be in the midst of controversy is actor couple Sangeetha and Krish. The couple has hit back at those opposing their trip to Switzerland yo take part in a New Year party organized by Tamils. Speaking to reporters in Chennai on Monday, Sangeetha and Krish said they had cross-checked and verified that the event was being organized by Tamils and not backed by any anti-Tamil individuals or organizations. "With this being the case, why should not we attend the event?. Threatening actors has become the order of the day. Don't mix politics and cinema. We are actors and it is our duty to take part in cultural shows. No one has the right to ask us not to participate in any events." they said.
