Team Mambattiyan has successfully resolved the problems that arose based on a case filed in Chennai court last week. Nallappan who had filed the case withdrew it based on a consensus on the issue at an out of court settlement.

 

In his petition last week, Nallappan said his father had "fought for the rights of tribal people" in the Salem region. "I understood that the filmmakers were trying to portray different fictitious versions of my father's life. I am apprehensive that the projected image would distort the facts", he said. Mambattiyan is produced and directed by Thyagarajan. The flick has Meera Jasmine, Vadivelu and Mumaith Khan in lead roles.
