'Uchithanai Mugarndhal' directed by Pugazhendi Thangaraj will hit screens on December 16. The flick is based on the life of a teenager who is a rape victim during the 2009 Srilankan war. The role of the 13 year old girl is played by Neenika.

 

The flick has Sathyaraj, Nasser, Seeman and Sangeetha in lead roles. The director said that the film is a message against such henious crimes. Some sources close to this film's unit reveal that the film got a lot of cuts when it crossed the censor board and will be released with a U/A certificate. The flick will be produced and distributed by Gemini Films Circuit.
