Kollywood actor Vijay will don the role of a tough cop in the flick 'Thupaki' which will be directed by A R Murugadoss. The shooting of the flick will begin in december. This is the first time that Vijay and Murugadoss and uniting for a project. Close sources say that the actor will don the role of a crime branch cop in the flick. This will be the second time that he is playing a cop role after his Pokkiri. Thupaki will have a strong technical team comprising lead technicians in kollywood. Santosh Sivan will take care of  the cinematography. The music is touted to be taken care of by Harris Jayaraj. Kajal Aggarwal will play the love interest of Vijay.
