Vijay starrer Velayudham will hit over 820 screens in India during Diwali. The flick is produced by Aascar Ravichandran and is directed by Jayam Raja. The flick has Hansika and Genelia doning female leads. The movie will be released with record prints in Kerala and Karnataka. "Velayudham is screened in more than 120 theaters in Kerala and roughly about 100 theatres in Karnataka. Velayudham focuses on important social issues besides being packaged with the signature style of mass masala elements intact which is usually associated with a Vijay film", said producer Ravichandran.
