Sources have reported that Karthi will play the role of a corporate lobbyist in the flick, a role similar to that of Nira Radia, who was involved in the 2G Spectrum scam. Sources say that his role is unique and undergoes drastic changes as the film progresses. Saguni is directed by Shankar Dayal and Parinitha will play the female lead in the flick. Radhika Sarathkumar and Sanythanam shall also appear in pivotal roles in the flick. Saguni is based on a political-corporate theme and is a complete commercial entertainer.
