UTV pictures is all set to venture into kollywood flicks through their first tamil flick, Muran. UTV has an expanded network throughout India and abroad and releases its flick through the network. UTV has released over 32 Hindi flicks till date. Muran will be the first tamil flick undertaken by UTV.

Muran will hit theatres in USA, UK, Europe, Dubai, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and other foreign countries. The regular medium budget flicks are only releaed in Home video category and thus cannot fully exploit the revenue collection potential. UTV venture is expected to correct this notion. UTV looks forward to establish a regular chain across KOllywood for marketing flicks abroad.
