Wasting no time after the release of Mankatha, Kollywood actress Trisha has planned to venture into sandalwood for more projects. She already has in hand a flick titled 'Common man' which will have Shivarajkumar in the lead. The story revolves around how an ordinary man progresses to become a Chief Minister.

Sources report that Trisha will don a pivotal role in the flick and that she is eagerly looking forward to the project which is expected to be a big break from her usual roles. The flick will be made in Tamil as well. The team had initially planned to rope in Anushka for the role, but the actress backed off in the last minute citing date problems. Trisha will be compensated nearly a crore for 'Common Man'.
