Ajith starrer Mankatha which will hit the theatres on August 31 will not be released by Studio Greens. It was earlier reported by sources that Studio Green will distribute the picture in India and abroad. But now we hear that Sun pictures is keen about acquiring the flick. "Mankatha will release on August 31.

 

But it's not releasing under Studio Green's banner! The ads have come under Studio Green's banner today; we couldn't remove it before the cut off time in the newspapers", said Dhayanidhi Alagiri on Wednesday. Sun network said that Sun TV has bagged the satellite rights of the flick. However we are awaiting for official confirmation on the same.
