Ace kollywood actor Ravichandran passed away on monday night at a private hospital in Chennai. The whole of kollywood bid adieu to the veteran actor on tuesday. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha also joined the group of mourners. In her note she said that the actor's death came as a shock to her and she recollected his contributions to tamil cinema.

The actor who started his career with the flick 'Kaadhalikka Neeramillai' acted in over 180 films. Ace actors Kamal Hassan, Manorama, Vijayakanth, Sivakumar and others visited his residence and paid last respects to the actor.
