Actor Narain is expected to get an elevated image after the release of his latest venture, 'Pookadai Ravi'. Though Narain has done many interesting and strong characters in  'Chithiram Pesudadi', 'Pallikudam' and 'Anjathe', this movie is expected to make a difference. The movie is centered around Madurai. It was also shot in places like Kumbakonam,Mayiladuthurai etc. The art director Shanmugam, has done an appreciable work by creating the aura of Madurai's Mela Vasi Veedhi.
