Sources close to the Mankatha team reported that the audio release of the flick may not happen in the end of July as announced earlier by director Venkat Prabhu and producer Dhayanidhi Alagiri. The exact reasons for the delay is yet unknown. Sources hint that the release might be postponed to August.

The news has come as a big disappointment to all Ajith fans who are already enthralled by Yuvan Shankar Raja's theme music for the flick. However we are yet awaiting official confirmation in this regard.
