Kollywood actress Anjali is awaiting the release of two flick, Thambi Vettothi Sundaram and Karungali in which she has meaty roles. The Angadi Theeru fame actress has great hopes regarding both these flicks and hopes that they would be stepping stones to better projects.

"I play a Kanyakumari girl in 'Thambi Vettothi Sundaram', which has Karan in the lead role. I learned the dialect of the region in a short span of time and everyone was appreciative about it.", On Karungali the actress said,"The film comes with a strong social message, which is must for today's youngsters. At the same time, it would have ingredients that would convince one commercially. Director Kalanjiam has given his best.".
