The Nanban team comprising director Shankar and kollwood actors Vijay, Srikanth, Jeeva and others were camping for over three days at the Koyembedu water tank to shoot important scenes of the flick. Sources reported that the team was quickly completing the shots.

Guesses are on that these scenes will be in the early half of the flick where actors Srikanth and Jeeva meet up. There are also scenes were the friends meet up at the water tank after college. Nanban is the tamil remake of bollywood flick 3 Idiots, which is based on a novel by Chetan Bhagat. The shooting of the flick is expected to be completed by the end of August. Sources report that the flick would hit the screens by October, and will be part of the Diwali release.
