Kollywood actress Kajal Aggarwal lost a major Hindi project that was to be directed by ace bollywood director Puri Jagannath.The director had roped in Kajal for a bilingual in Hindi and Telugu. Puri has roped in Mahesh Babu for the telugu version and Abhishekh Bachan for hindi remake.

Close sources now report that Puri Jagannath is reconsidering his earlier decision to have Kajal in lead role. The director said that he did not want the Hindi version to be seen as a replica of the telugu one and hence was looking for a new face. However Kajal is eagerly awaiting the response to her debut flick Singam with Ajay Devagan in the lead. The flick is expected to hit the screens by next month.
