More than 50 members of Vijay fans association froma village in Nagercoil donated their eyes to the near by government hospital. The mass eye donation camp was organized at Aasari Pallam, a small village near Nagarkovil. The meeting was attended by senior politicians and Vijay's father S A Chandrasekhar.

The group later went to the Aasari Pallam hospital and donated their eyes. The certificate of donation was later distributed by the director of hospital. SAC thanked all participants and requested them to keep up the good work.
