Kollywood actor Prabhu Deva obtained divorce from his first marriage with Ramlatha alias Latha. The divorce petition filed by the couple was granted by Chennai Family Court. Prabhu Deva has transferred an alimony of Rs 10 lakhs and two cars and a property in Anna Nagar to Latha.

A 22-cent land at Injambakkam village and his property at Alekhyas Kaushik Meadows has been transferred in the name of his two children. The children would stay with their mother and Prabhu is permitted to visit them and bear their expenses related to education, marriage etc
