Ace kollywood director Bala has come under much criticism for his just released flick 'Avan Ivan'. Functionaries of Indian National League (INL) lodged a complaint with the Madurai District Collector and Deputy Commissioner of Police for objectionable remarks against Kurbani in the flick.

Kurbani is a holy religious practice among the muslims. Kurbani in Arabic means 'sacrifice'. The Indian National League cadres have demanded action against the director for insulting their sentiments.
