Ace kollywood actor Suriya's a decade year old flick, Nandha will be released as 'Bala -Suriya' in Telugu. The flick was directed by Bala and has Rajkiran and Laila in pivotal roles. The music of the flick is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The story is about a young boy who is released from the juvenile prison. He gets imprisoned for murdering his father and later when released, he hopes for a normal life. He tries to support his deaf and dumb mother and his younger sister who is scared of him. Suriya's performance in the movie was much appreciated and the Telugu version is expected to bring him greater accolades. The flick has six songs which will be distributed in Telugu by Aditya Music.
